Management agent certification deadline Sept. 1
WHEDA has posted the annual management agent certification process for the 2021 state and federal housing tax credit programs to the 2021 housing tax credit program page. As with the 2017-2020 cycles, management agents are no longer individually scored for applications.
Management agents that wish to become certified for the 2021 state and federal housing tax credit processes must submit to WHEDA a 2021 agent certification worksheet by Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020. WHEDA will then evaluate each agent and send a certification or denial letter. Management agents should supply a copy of this certification letter to developers that are submitting state or federal housing tax credit applications to be included in their submission packets.
NOTE: This is NOT a requirement for agents currently managing tax credit projects. It is only a requirement for agents that wish to be listed on 2021 state and federal housing tax credit applications.
For additional requirements and submission information including the worksheet, please visit the 2021 housing tax credit program page, section: Management Agent Certification Process.
