Lunchtime Concerts Return to Downtown Milwaukee This Summer

Heart(beats) of the City powered by MGIC and PNC presents Tunes@Noon to bring free, midday melodies to public spaces downtown

MILWAUKEE (May 30, 2024) – Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21 is welcoming back two of its lunchtime summer concert series this June. The free concert series, Heart(beats) of the City powered by MGIC and PNC presents Tunes@Noon, will kick off the first week of June and run all summer long.

“Summer in Downtown Milwaukee is always an exciting time, with all of the festivals, concerts and events,” said Beth Weirick, CEO of Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21. “We are so excited to bring back two of our own concert series, offering Downtown employees and guests a fun and unique spot for a midday break.”

Heart(beats) of the City powered by MGIC will take place every Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., June 5 through September 4 (except June 19, July 3, July 17 and August 21), at Red Arrow Park. The lunchtime series will feature local and regional musicians, plus an ever-changing lineup of food truck vendors.

“MGIC is honored to once again partner with Milwaukee Downtown to bring music, food and fun to Red Arrow Park with Heart(beats) of the City,” said Annette Adams, CHRO of MGIC Investment Corporation. “Lunchtime concerts are a great way to break up the workday, and a prime example of the richness our location in downtown Milwaukee adds to our employee experience.”

Just a few blocks from Heart(beats) of the City powered by MGIC, another concert series will liven Thursday lunchbreaks. PNC presents Tunes@Noon will return to the Courtyard at 411 East Wisconsin Center every Thursday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., June 6 through August 29 (except July 4). The series will feature an eclectic mix of local and regional artists. Meanwhile guests will be able to purchase grab-and-go lunch options from the Davians at 411 Café.
