Locust Street Festival returns to Riverwest this Sunday
The Riverwest based Locust Street Festival of Music and Art is set to return once again this year on Sunday, June 9. The 45th edition of the festival, which takes place on Locust Street from North Holton Street to North Humboldt Boulevard, will feature an entire day of local music, art, vendors, food and much more.
The day formally gets underway at 11:30 a.m. with the Locust Street Beer Run, a 1.6-mile run through Riverwest with four Lakefront beer stops along the route. Additionally, six outdoor music stages are among the attractions that will be set up throughout the festival running until 8 p.m.Alderperson Jonathan Brostoff and Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs, who jointly represent Riverwest, are thrilled that the festival returns this weekend, and invite the public to join the celebration.
