The state of Wisconsin revoked the wholesale dealer license for two Milwaukee-area wholesale dealers:

  • Mazis Motors LLC, located at 830 North 109th Street, Wauwatosa
  • M & W Auto, located at 3852 North 24th Place, Milwaukee

The order, issued by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Division of Motor Vehicles, determined that Mazis Motors and M&W Auto violated state law when they sold motor vehicles to retail customers without a retail dealer license in violation of Wis Stat. §218.0114(1) and Wis. Admin. Code ch. Trans 138.027(2). In addition, Mazis Motors failed to maintain business facilities and failed to make records available in violation of Wis. Admin. Code ch. Trans 138.03(1) and Trans 138.04(3).

Both licenses were revoked effective May 11, 2022. While the revocations occurred earlier, under Wisconsin law dealers are afforded a 30-day appeal period. This appeal period is now passed.

WisDOT’s Dealer and Agent Section licenses, regulates and resolves disputes about dealership sales and warranty repairs. It also investigates complaints about odometer tampering and title fraud involving dealerships and private sellers.
