License revoked for Milwaukee motor vehicle dealer

By - Oct 10th, 2024 09:00 am

The State of Wisconsin revoked the motor vehicle dealer license for Royal Legacy Auto LLC, 2027 W. Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee, for failing to properly follow administrative requirements. The order, issued by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s (WisDOT) Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV), determined that Royal Legacy Auto violated state law when it failed to maintain business facilities and failed to maintain and provide dealer records.

The decision to revoke the dealer license was affirmed by a hearing examiner decision on September 10, 2024. Following a 30-day appeal period, the revocation became final on October 10, 2024.

WisDOT’s Dealer and Agent Section licenses, regulates and resolves disputes about dealership sales and warranty repairs. It also investigates complaints about odometer tampering and title fraud involving dealerships and private sellers.
