Lasry Campaign Raises Over $1 Million in 43 Days
Milwaukee – Alex Lasry today announced that just 43 days after entering the race, his campaign for United States Senate has raised over $1,000,000 from individual donors. This marks the highest opening quarter fundraising total ever for a first-time Wisconsin Senate challenger. Lasry finished the quarter with $1,086,812 in contributions and over $770,000 on hand.
Lasry’s report exemplifies the strong grassroots support that his campaign has built across the state:
- Approximately 65% of contributions came from Wisconsin.
- Approximately 85% of contributions were small dollar donations under $200.
- Contributions came from donors in 69 of Wisconsin’s 72 Counties.
“Democrats all over Wisconsin are responding to Alex Lasry because he doesn’t just talk about the issues, he delivers results,” said DNC Representative Martha Love. “Whether it’s paying a $15 minimum wage, making sure projects in Wisconsin are built by Wisconsin companies, creating good union jobs, or marching on the front lines for racial justice – others talk about our challenges, Alex Lasry brings people together to solve them.”
Lasry will file his official campaign finance report before the Federal Elections Commission deadline on April 15th.
The Democratic Primary Election for the United States Senate will be held Tuesday, August 9th, 2022. For more information about Alex Lasry’s campaign, visit www.alexlasry.com.
