MILWAUKEE (January 2nd, 2023) – National Hot Sauce Day occurs on Monday, January 22nd. Lakefront plans to celebrate in a big way the day before on Sunday, January 21st. Starting at 11AM, Lakefront will be offering a special wing and beer pairing featuring a flight of five of their award-winning beers alongside five different sauced up chicken wings: Parmesan & Garlic Hot Honey BBQ Verde Thai Mango Buffalo A one day special, each wing variety will also be available in full or half orders. This includes vegan options – BBQ and Thai Mango (while supplies last).

It wouldn’t be a proper hot sauce event without a hot wing challenge. Lakefront is offering the ability to sign up ahead of time to take their Hot Wing Trivia Challenge. Two reservation spots will be available every half hour, sign up as an individual or with a friend. Depending on interest, the challenge can be taken solo, as a duo, or as a one-on-one competition. Each person will need to eat five of their super-hot “Scoville Lava” chicken wings down to the bone, while also correctly answering 60% of their rapid-fire trivia questions. Contestants will have five minutes to complete the challenge. Winners take home free beer to celebrate their big win. The challenge is free to sign up, win or lose, but you must be 21+ to enter. Lakefront says they’ll accept walk-ups as timing and space allows but they recommend picking a time slot ahead of time by clicking HERE.

Lakefront’s very own award-winning trivia night host, Justin Stare, will conduct each challenge live from the Beer Hall stage to provide a little extra entertainment for those attending the event.
