Judge Chris Taylor Campaign Statement on Wisconsin Supreme Court Race

MADISON, Wis. – Ashley Franz, campaign manager for Judge Chris Taylor’s campaign for Wisconsin Supreme Court, released the following statement today following Justice Rebecca Bradley’s announcement that she will not seek re-election:

“Judge Taylor has spent the last three months traveling across Wisconsin, connecting with voters, and building support for her campaign for Wisconsin Supreme Court because our state deserves someone who stands for justice – this announcement doesn’t change that. Thanks to her work and decades of protecting the rights and freedoms of all Wisconsinites, she has earned the support of over 100 judges, including a majority of current state Supreme Court justices. Judge Taylor has also raised over a million dollars from thousands of grassroots supporters who believe in electing a fair and impartial justice. The incredible support for Judge Taylor shows how important this race is. No matter who Republicans and right-wing special interests recruit to run against her, Wisconsinites will once again have a clear choice between a candidate who believes in stripping rights away and Judge Taylor, who has always been on the side of the people.”
