Jones Campaign Announces Support of Law Enforcement and First Responders in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Race
The Milwaukee County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, the Retired Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, the Milwaukee Police Association, and the Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Association have all joined together in support of Judge Andrew Jones.
Today, Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Andrew Jones’ campaign announced that he has garnered the endorsements of Milwaukee’s Law Enforcement and First Responders in support of his campaign to retain his seat on the bench.
The Milwaukee County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, the Retired Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, the Milwaukee Police Association, and the Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Association have all joined together in support of Judge Andrew Jones and his bid to retain his seat in Branch 40 of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
In a letter sent to the campaign, the Milwaukee County Deputy Sheriffs’ and Retired Deputy Sheriffs’ Associations stated the following in support of Judge Jones’ candidacy:
“Law enforcement officers deal with crime and public safety issues every day, and we see first hand the impact they have on our community. We also see the justice system close up, and we see a lot more of what goes into courtrooms than most citizens see. For these reasons, we feel strongly that Milwaukee County needs judges who will do the right thing and not allow decisions to be influenced by politics or ideology.
Judge Andrew Jones is without question the most experienced and qualified candidate in this race, and we are proud to offer our support to his campaign.”
In response to these endorsements, Judge Jones replied: “I am honored to have earned such support from our county’s law enforcement and first responder community based on my experience and work as a lawyer and judge. My pledge to them is the same I make to all the citizens of Milwaukee County — that I will continue working each and every day to ensure that the law is applied fairly and equally to everyone who comes before me in Branch 40.”
Judge Andrew Jones has 24 years of experience as a trial lawyer, appellate lawyer, and judge. For more information on Judge Jones’ campaign, please visit www.judgeandrewjones.com/.
