Milwaukee, WI — Walker’s Point 5th Street Fest returns for its third year with a daylong celebration of music, food, activities and fun on Saturday, September 28.

Hosted by the Walker’s Point Association, the fest takes place on 5th Street from the South Stage on National Avenue to the North Stage on Virginia Street, both of which feature live music and demonstrations all day. The Fest also includes a midpoint DJ stage and is expanded with access to the new Zocalo Food Truck Park on Pierce and 6th Street.

Artists include Mariachi Monarcas offers traditional music while Brown’s Crew blends hip hop with Latin sounds. The North Stage evening headliner is renowned Santana tribute band Abraxes, while the South Stage lineup is capped off by the extravaganza of Hamburger Mary’s Drag Show.

The entertainment schedule includes a yoga class by Abliss Yoga, and moves into genres including punk rock from Assault and Battery and the Size 5’s, indie pop showcased by Wax Lips, Saebra and Carlyle, Paper Holland, and Cullah. Many others, such as Jayne Joyce as well as Funk Summit Bass Team, will bring irrepressible groove beats to the Fest.
