WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) met with Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett on Wednesday. The senator released the following statement after their meeting:
“It was a pleasure to meet Judge Amy Coney Barrett this afternoon. She is a wonderful person, a brilliant legal mind and a judge who is committed to applying the law, not altering it. I look forward to voting to confirm Judge Barrett in the coming days and believe she will be a Justice on Supreme Court that will remain faithful to the Constitution.”
