Johnson Discusses Barrett Nomination on ‘Sunday Morning Futures’
WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) discussed the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court during an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo.
An excerpt of the interview is below and video can be found here.
“I think Judge Coney Barrett did a phenomenal job. I mean, she ran circles around the Democrats. Again, they revealed they’re not interested in judges, they want super legislators. They’re interested in having the Supreme Court be a policymaking arm of the federal government. That’s not the intention. It should be a non-partisan arm of our federal government that really just dispenses justice, that applies the law doesn’t alter it.”
