Cocktails by the Fire:
Every Monday from 5:30-7:30pm, $25 per person | The Library
During these cold winter nights, join The Iron Horse Hotel and snuggle up by the fireplace with a handcrafted cocktail. Every Monday night, the Cocktails by the Fire series will feature rotating, seasonal cocktails along with a warm lecture on the highlighted spirit in front of a cozy fire in The Library. With cocktails specially crafted by the Branded bartenders featuring spirits ranging from barrel aged whiskey to gin tea, it’s the perfect to opportunity to sip and learn about your new favorite cocktail!

Little Black Dress Charity Auction:
January 18th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM
Kick off the New Year with a great cause and the opportunity to outbid your friends at the Iron Horse Hotel’s Little Black Dress Party Charity Auction to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Wisconsin. Indulge in the barrel aged bourbon bar or champagne bar, revel in live music by The Toys Band, and don’t miss out on the chance to bid on a dinner date at Smyth with 15 of Milwaukee’s most eligible bachelors (including the lead singer of The Toys Band!). All proceeds from the live and silent auction will be going to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Wisconsin.
Beer School:
Every Saturday in January from 2:00 – 4:00 PM | Smyth
Head back to school this January for The Iron Horse Hotel’s Beer School! The beer-centric events will feature local breweries including Black Husky (Jan 6), War Pigs (Jan 13), Good City (Jan 20), or Ale Asylum (Jan 27). The classes will offer an interactive discussion about the brewer, how the beer is made and a special tasting of each beer discussed in class. No tickets or reservations necessary.
Trails of Kentucky Whiskey Dinner
Thursday, January 25th at 7:00 PM
Head to The Iron Horse Hotel for a lavish 4-course dinner. Each course will be paired with one of the following whiskey’s: Maker’s Mark, Knob Creek, Eagle Rare, Pappy Van Winkle. Guests will be guided through the dinner by whiskey representatives and Chef Joshua Rogers. Dinner will be $115/person. Reservations are required.
The Trails of Kentucky Whiskey Dinner will be the first of many dinners part of the Iron Horse Hotel’s Spirit Dinner Series. More details to come on the series shortly.
