Milwaukee tech landscape topic of Jan. 12 luncheon
WAUWATOSA, Wis. – Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier “Chevy” Johnson and City Development Commissioner Lafayette Crump will talk about city and regional technology assets at a Thursday, Jan. 12 Tech Council Innovation Network luncheon.
Following Johnson and Crump as a panelist after their remarks will be Kathy Henrich, chief executive officer of the MKE Tech Hub Coalition, which focuses on workforce development in the region. As always, audience questions are welcomed.
“The city’s selection as the host site for the 2024 Republican National Convention, the growth of tech-based businesses of all sizes in the region, and the presence of research-oriented colleges and universities is elevating Milwaukee as a tech-friendly city,” said Tom Still, president of the Wisconsin Technology Council. “We’ll hear more about where key city officials want to go from here.”
