IEWC Named a 2026 Future 50 Company by BizTimes and MMAC

MILWAUKEE – IEWC has been named a 2026 Future 50 company by BizTimes Media, in partnership with the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC). This marks the second time in the last five years IEWC has earned the recognition, which honors the fastest-growing privately-owned companies in southeastern Wisconsin.

The award reflects a period of significant growth for IEWC, including the recent expansion of the company’s control panel manufacturing operations in New Berlin, an investment creating more than 220 new jobs in the region.

“IEWC has been a people-first company since 1962, growing from our southeastern Wisconsin roots into a global business,” said Mike Veum, President and CEO of IEWC. “Our agility has allowed us to expand our manufacturing capabilities, reach new customers, and invest in the local workforce through apprenticeships and good-paying jobs. That growth belongs to our employee-owners, and it’s their innovation that will keep IEWC at the front of Wisconsin’s manufacturing story.”

Selection for the Future 50 is based on verified performance data. Applicants report employment and revenue history since 2023, confirmed by their accountants and bankers, and are ranked using a formula that weighs three-year growth, projected current-year growth, and company size.

“We’re proud to continue the Future 50 program and provide an objective measure of the fastest-growing companies in the Milwaukee region,” said Dan Meyer, publisher and owner of BizTimes Media. “As the region’s only locally-owned business publication, we’re excited to celebrate the companies that are creating jobs and opportunities for thousands of people in our communities.”

As an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company, IEWC provides 100% employer-funded retirement with no out-of-pocket contribution required. That commitment to employee financial security has contributed to IEWC’s recognition as a consecutive Top Workplace in the United States and a Best Place to Work in the Southeast Wisconsin region for consecutive years.

The Future 50 companies will be honored at an awards luncheon on Friday, September 18 at the Italian Community Center. To register, visit www.biztimes.com/future50.
