HYFIN to host “Navigating Financial Success for Thriving Black-Owned Businesses” on Nov. 15

Free event on financial wellness for small businesses to be hosted in conjunction with MKE Black at Radio Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (Nov. 1, 2022) – HYFIN, a Radio Milwaukee station (WYMS-88.9FM HD2), will host “Navigating Financial Success for Thriving Black-Owned Businesses” on Nov. 15 at Radio Milwaukee.

Hosted in conjunction with MKE Black, the 6-8 p.m. event is open to the public and will feature an exclusive presentation from Baird on financial wellness for small businesses, covering the following topics:

  • Employee retirement plans
  • Anticipating and planning for risks unique to small businesses
  • Securing and building business capital
  • Creating a thoughtful and proactive succession plan and exit strategy

The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A with Milwaukee small business owners. Moderated by Charese Gardner, co-owner of Wall St. Stock Bar and CEO of Gardner & Associates, the panel will feature the following guests:

Following the panel, a networking hour will take place at Wall St. Stock Bar, 219 S. 2nd St., from 8-9:30 p.m.
