Circuit Court Candidates
Election 2016 is an opportunity to kick-off the “vetting” of those who represent the citizenry of the city of Milwaukee and county of Milwaukee. Our municipal, circuit, appeal and supreme courts are NOT immune. As a matter of fact, more than ever they are in the “eye of the People” serious about making the environment that we all live in a better place. Milwaukee has the largest INCARCERATION record.
Milwaukee has an astounding African American and other People of Color citizens “trapped” in the system of “arrest” and long-term Incarceration.
JUDGES MUST BE PART OF THE SOLUTION. No One is Exempt.
2016 VOTING – FULL COURT PRESS
MPA LLC is looking at those Elected in the Executive, Legislative and Judicial areas for 2016.
It is time for VOTER Accountability.
There is a profiling and racially-used form of court justice that is called: “TOUGH ON CRIME”. It has NO real connection or relevance to reality. It is knee-jerk policies [Truth & Sentencing, mega-pricing of private prisons – “prison–industrial complex” (PIC), with NO real accountability of rehabilitation; but giant cost].
It does not address the public square, ideology that creates a narrative that is supported by the People. It is an expensive, lobby-oriented, one-platform for election to mystery and misery in the public square. The high level of volatility and toxic environment of Enduring Concentrated Poverty, gun availability, misuse of guns, drug sale, drugs use, drug addiction, drug wars (pharmaceutical and gang-related), disrespect for others, mental illness, terrorism (domestic or international), juvenile addictions (drugs and unsafe environments) and HATE.
Highest Incarceration Rate
The city of Milwaukee and county of Milwaukee is the primary focus of regard for “who is running” for the various positions.
Given the Incarceration labels of the city of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County – the death of Dontre Hamilton and other People of Color, behavior of DAs, DISTRUST of DA, SHERIFF, POLICE, lack of attorneys and customer need in Public Defenders office (Day 1 – thru Appeal), quick plea agreements based on quick moment of the court rather than truth, unclear orders from judges that is injurious and beyond necessity, lack of training and guinea pig court proceedings, we are especially interested in who is making the SENTENCING – “Judges”.
Some benchmarks are:
– What judges are facing as it relates to trials, evidence at trial, their understanding of the case, their experience of law, and issues of a case as presented in the court?
– The bias and belief of officers and the DA office without proof.
– The presentation of both the Office of the Public Defender’s office and the Office of the District Attorney County.
– The FEAR of attorneys of vindictiveness of DA office and judges.
