Gov. Evers Signs Senate Bill 391 in Wisconsin Dells
This bill extends the lifespan of tax increment districts 3 and 4 in the village of Lake Delton to 2042 and 2044, respectively.
WISCONSIN DELLS — Gov. Tony Evers today signed Senate Bill 391, now 2019 Wisconsin Act 21, at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells with area business leaders and local elected officials. This bill extends the lifespan of tax increment districts 3 and 4 in the village of Lake Delton to 2042 and 2044, respectively.
“This bill will be incredibly important in supporting the continued development and growth of one of Wisconsin’s most popular destinations,” Gov. Evers said. “The Dells are a huge economic engine for our state, and the community here is doing some great local development work. It was a pleasure to sign this bill into law to help them continue this good work into the future, not only for the millions of folks who visit the Dells every year, but for the families that call the Dells home as well.”
Senate Bill 391, now 2019 Wisconsin Act 21:
- Extends the maximum lifespan of both tax increment districts 3 and 4 in the village of Lake Delton to 37 years and allows both districts to incur project expenditures for up to 32 years.
