Gordon Park July 4th Independence Day Celebration

Make plans to attend tomorrow’s fun and festivities at Gordon Park at N. Humboldt Blvd. and E. Locust St.

Make plans to attend tomorrow’s fun and festivities at Gordon Park at N. Humboldt Blvd. and E. Locust St. There will be a parade in the morning, bike decorating, music, entertainment, fireworks and more. Decorate your bike and win prizes. There will be four bikes given away and many other prizes.

Meet at Our Lady of Divine Providence (on N. Fratney St.) or St. Casimir (on N. Bremen St.) to decorate bikes. Decorating starts at 8:30 a.m., and plenty of supplies will be available.

Parade starts at 11:00 a.m. at two locations: Our Lady of Divine Providence Colonial Hall and St. Casimir (line up for parade starts at 10:30 a.m. – parade starts promptly at 11:00 a.m.)

Gordon Park July 4 power down stage:

11:30 – 12:00: Opening remarks: Grand Marshalls Spike Bandy & Lorraine Jacobs, Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs and Alderman Nik Kovac

12: 00 pm: Peace Banshees – an acappella women’s ensemble
