GOP Hispanic Outreach Breaks Another Milestone

Operación ¡Vamos! has contacted more Hispanic voters than efforts in the last 6 years combined

[Madison, Wis.] – In April 2022, the National Republican Senatorial Committee and nine GOP State Parties announced the launch of “Operación ¡Vamos!” a seven-figure investment in field and communications programming focused on taking the Republican message to the Hispanic community. As one of the launch states, the Wisconsin Vamos program has been active on the ground, speaking to voters throughout the state, since April.

In mid-September, Wisconsin Vamos’ voter contact operation surpassed the combined total for GOP Hispanic voter contact efforts in the Badger State across the last six years. The program is finding that national concerns of Hispanic voters mirror those of Hispanic voters in Wisconsin. Those top issues of concern are crime, inflation, jobs and the economy. The RPW and Operación ¡Vamos! will continue to use their outreach education efforts to spread the Republican solutions to these Democrat-created problems.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs September 15 to October 15, the RPW has held numerous events in Milwaukee targeting the Hispanic community. These have included a block party, a voter registration drive, and a voter education event. The RPW and Operación ¡Vamos! Wisconsin will be continuing efforts throughout the month-span to further reach out to Hispanic voters across the state.

Statement from RPW Chairman Paul Farrow: “We are proud to have programs like Operación ¡Vamos! in Wisconsin to help take our Republican message directly to the Hispanic community. The Hispanic community has always shared our Republican values of faith, family, freedom, security and limited government. That’s why, since April, the Vamos team has made tremendous grassroots efforts and successfully spread our Republican message to more Hispanic voters than in the last six years, combined. We are excited to continue showing up, working with the Hispanic community in Wisconsin, and welcoming them to the Republican Party.”
