Garden District Farmers Market Starts Saturday
Sponsored by the Garden District Neighborhood Association, the farmers market will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will operate each Saturday through October 20.
The city’s Garden District (the 13th Aldermanic District) will host the first of several farmers market Saturdays starting this Saturday, June 23, at S. 6th and W. Norwich Streets, Alderman Terry L. Witkowski and the Garden District Neighborhood Association announced today.
Sponsored by the Garden District Neighborhood Association, the farmers market will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will operate each Saturday through October 20. The market will have a wide array of offerings, including fresh produce, plants, flowers, and other goods.

The association will also have an information tent at the market where visitors can learn more about association activities, other affiliate associations serving the area, and where garden signs, hats/T-shirts, bottled water, and other items will be offered for sale.
