Friends of the Domes is Proud to Support Milwaukee County Park’s SPARK! Program
Milwaukee, Wis., November 20, 2024 – Milwaukee County Parks is hosting several upcoming SPARK! program sessions. The next session will take place on Tuesday, November 26.
SPARK! is a free program designed for older adults with early to mid-stage memory loss and their caregivers. This is part of a national program dedicated to providing experiences that foster joy through art, culture, nature, movement, and music.
SPARK! programs are designed not to rely on recalling memories, but rather to encourage being in the moment through observations, conversations, and creative experiences.
SPARK! programs are free of cost, but pre-registration is required. This program is run by Milwaukee County Parks with support from Friends of the Domes, a private nonprofit that provides cultural enrichment and educational programming on behalf of the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory.
- What: SPARK! Cultural Programming for People with Memory Loss
- When: Monthly sessions, typically on the 4th Tuesday. Upcoming dates include November 26, December 17, and January 28, 10-11:30AM

About Friends of the Domes: The Friends mission is to promote and support the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (The Domes) and surrounding park by creating and enhancing the visitor experience of this globally significant urban destination.
