MADISON – Assembly Democratic Leader Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) released the following statement after Senator Janet Bewley (D-Mason) was selected by her colleagues to lead the Senate Democratic Caucus as Minority Leader:

I served with Janet during her time in the Assembly and I admired her tenacity, intelligence, and commitment to her district.
