MILWAUKEE – Oct. 23, 2024 –  In recognition of Veterans Day and the sacrifices made by our service members, Float Milwaukee, the area’s leading float therapy center, is offering complimentary services and substantial discounts to all retired and active-duty military personnel throughout the entire month.

“We’re deeply grateful for the service and sacrifice of our veterans and active-duty military members,” Andy Larson, Float Milwaukee Founder, states. “This initiative is our way of giving back and providing them with a space for relaxation, healing and rejuvenation.”

Special veterans’ offers for November include:

  • Up to three (3) complimentary 60-minute float sessions (valued at $80 each)
  • Additional float sessions for $35 each (56% off)
  • NovoTHOR® whole-body red light therapy sessions for just $20 each (71% off)

Starting November 1, veterans and active-duty military personnel can book their free Float sessions at FloatMilwaukee.com/book using the code ‘vet24’.

(Veterans interested in taking advantage of these offers are encouraged to book their sessions early, as availability may be limited — please call 414-273-7258 if scheduling before Nov. 1. Proof of service will be required at the time of appointment.)

The discounted price offers extend to immediate family members of veterans, including spouses and children as part of Float Milwaukee’s commitment to supporting the entire military community. Immediate family members can use code ‘vetfam24’ when booking a float ($35 each) or NovoTHOR ($20) session at FloatMilwaukee.com/book.

Float therapy (also known as sensory deprivation or isolation tank therapy), has shown promising results in addressing various issues that veterans often face, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, insomnia and chronic pain. The weightless environment created by the float chamber encourages deep relaxation and can provide significant relief from both physical and mental stress.

“Since we began providing free and discounted floats as a way to give back to our nation’s heroes, veterans and their family members have experienced the relaxation of more than 2,000 complimentary floats at Float Milwaukee,” Larson adds. “The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many reporting improvements in sleep quality, reduced anxiety and better overall well-being.”

In addition to float therapy, Float Milwaukee offers NovoTHOR whole-body red light therapy, which has been shown to aid in pain management, reduce inflammation and promote systemic healing. This combination of services provides a holistic approach to wellness that can be particularly beneficial for veterans dealing with service-related health issues.

Float Milwaukee invites local news organizations to share this information with their audiences and help spread the word about these special offers to the veteran community. Larson is also available for interviews to discuss the benefits of float therapy for veterans and provide more details about the event.
