Fitzgerald Statement on Being Named Antitrust Subcommittee Chairman
WASHINGTON, DC – Yesterday, Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (R-WI) was named Chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust for the 119th Congress by Judiciary Committee Chairman, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH).
Background: The Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust has jurisdiction over bankruptcy and commercial law, bankruptcy judgeships, administrative law, independent counsel, state taxation affecting interstate commerce, interstate compacts, antitrust matters, other appropriate matters as referred by the Chairman, and relevant oversight. Congressman Fitzgerald has served on this committee for the past four years and focused on ensuring competition laws benefit consumers, preventing foreign state-owned enterprises from distorting our markets, and fighting back against bureaucrats seeking to implement ESG criteria and other aspects of the left-wing agenda into antitrust enforcement.

Fitzy finally has something to do besides vote the way somebody told him to vote? WOW!
He said, “reverse the Biden Administration’s anti-business agenda,”
This statement seemed totally absurd to me so I searched, “US economy news”. These headlines came up:
“US Economy Surprised Again in 2024 Despite Fed, Election Drama”, Bloomberg
“Will the US economy and the stock market continue their growth into 2025?” MSN
“The US economy in 2025: Reasons for optimism” Forbes
He’s a moron.
Imagine someone that can’t be trusted being put on an as Antitrust Subcommittee Chairman. You can’t make this stuff up because it is the reality of today’s GOP, (G.rifting O.pressive P.rojectionists).
