Fitzgerald Responds to President Trump Trial Verdict

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) issued the following statement regarding the President Trump trial verdict.

“Democrats are so desperate to keep the limelight off of President Biden’s malfunctioning policy agenda that they’ve taken lawfare to a new low,” said Rep. Fitzgerald. “The verdict delivered in President Trump’s trial today is an absolute sham and based largely on the ‘testimony’ of a convicted liar whose credibility sits about as low as it gets. The American people are watching closely—and what they see is complete abuse and weaponization of our government against political opponents.”

The convicted liar was a convicted for his part in the crime. He had documents.

    Why are Republicans such liars?

OBTW, the economy under Biden has been excellent, guess he hadn’t noticed that. Oh yeah, more lies by a Republican.

Mr. Fitzgerald needs to remember that Cohen was, for many years, a “trusted” employee employed by *RUMP. At what point did he become a liar, or a liability? While doing *RUMP’s dirty dealings, or only once he was caught? I am thinking that the phrase “What’s good for the Goose, is good for the Gander” needs to be applied here. And, as an elected politician that by statue…must represent citizens in both political parties…Fitzgerald needs to respect the law, the judicial process, and the jury system that has worked for years. Or does he only get on his soapbox when he is not in favor of a LEGAL outcome. You need to represent people like me, who believes *RUMP is guilty as sin. Stop defending the party of corruption, of which you are a part.

So Fitz, who should we prosecute? Trump has lived a sloppy life and not it will bite him in his ample behind.
