Milwaukee, WI., April 24, 2016 –  Milwaukee’s first ever Veg Expo will take place at Hart Park in Wauwatosa on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10 am to 6 pm.  The free event will feature renowned speakers, exhibitors, and delicious vegan food provided by local restaurants.

According to Google trends, public interest in the vegan lifestyle is higher than ever before. Even Bill Gates is investing in meat substitutes, recognizing the growing trend away from meat.  As more vegan options appear on restaurant menus and in grocery stores throughout Milwaukee, and as awareness grows about the negative environmental impacts and ethical problems with modern “animal farming”, more and more folks are exploring alternative diet options. Even people in the medical profession are declaring that a plant-based diet reduces cholesterol levels, significantly reduces the risk of heart disease, and can be an effective way to shed unwanted weight.

Join us on May 7th as we bring the vegan culture to the Brew City!  Admission is free.  Come veg with us!  Check out our website for more info or to apply as a vendor or sponsor!  www.mkevegexpo.com.
