Fiesta Selena Returns to Milwaukee on September, 2026, Kicking Off Hispanic Heritage Month by Celebrating the Legacy, Music, and Culture of Selena Quintanilla
Fiesta Selena returns to Milwaukee on Sunday, September 20, 2026, bringing music, art, culture, food, and community together in a celebration honoring the life and legacy of Selena Quintanilla.
Taking place during the first week of Hispanic Heritage Month, Fiesta Selena will help kick off this important month-long celebration by honoring one of the greatest icons of Latino culture and music. Selena Quintanilla’s legacy continues to inspire generations, transcending borders and bringing people together through her music, style, and cultural impact.
Hosted by The Farmhouse Paint & Sip, the event will take place from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at 4511 S. 6th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53221. Admission to the festival is free, and the entire family is welcome.
Recognized as the number-one festival in the Midwest, Fiesta Selena offers a full day of entertainment and activities for the community, including live music, dance performances, artisan vendors, interactive art experiences, delicious food, and family-friendly activities. The festival also provides a platform for local artists, musicians, dancers, and vendors to connect with and showcase their talents to the Milwaukee community.
The festival will once again feature the Selena Talent Competition, with a $500 first-place prize, as well as the popular Selena Look-Alike Contest, with separate adult and children’s categories and a $100 prize for the winners.
Art lovers can also participate in “Como la Flor,” a special step-by-step guided painting experience inspired by Selena. Advance registration is required.
Fiesta Selena is made possible through the collaboration and community commitment of The Farmhouse Paint & Sip and Chucho’s Red Tacos, longtime allies dedicated to supporting the arts, local businesses, and cultural experiences that bring the Milwaukee community together.
