Milwaukee Police Seek Suspect in Deadly Bicycle Crash
Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Friday, July 31, 2026, at approximately 5:40 p.m., on the 1700 block of West Vliet Street. A vehicle that was travelling northbound on North 17th Street struck a pedestrian on a bicycle who was crossing the street westbound on West Vliet Street. The striking vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian, a 64-year-old, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. Milwaukee Police are seeking unknown suspect(s).
