Fatal Collision on W. Custer Avenue: One Dead, Driver Arrested After Ignoring Stop Sign
Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on December 16, 2025, at approximately 1:42 a.m., on the 5000 block of W. Custer Avenue. Unit #1 disregarded s stop sign and collided with unit #2 that was making a turn. The driver of unit #2, a 47-year-old, was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious but non-fatal injuries. The passenger of unit #2, a 63-year-old, was transported to a hospital and succumbed. The driver of unit #1, a 48-year-old man, was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious but non-fatal injuries. He was arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
