Fatal Altercation in Milwaukee: 71-Year-Old Dies Following Fight on W. Hampton Avenue
Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal battery that occurred on Monday, May 11, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m., on the 10400 block of W. Hampton Avenue. The suspect and victim were engaged in a physical fight. The victim, a 71-year-old, was transported to a hospital and later succumbed. The suspect, a 65-year-old male, was arrested after he turned himself in at a local police station. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
