Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Fairchild Equipment, a leading provider of materials handling and storage solutions, celebrated the grand opening of its new facility at 5500 N Lovers Lane Road in Milwaukee with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 21, 2026.

The event brought together business leaders, employees, and public officials to recognize the company’s expansion and its impact on the local community. Speakers at the event included Mike Duffek, President, Duffek Construction; Ginger Kollmansberger, Regional Director and Office Manager for U.S. Senator Ron Johnson; Dora Drake, State Senator; David Crowley, Milwaukee County Executive; Ryan Rivas, Member Engagement Manager, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce; and Heather Hastings, Vice President of Membership, Waukesha County Business Alliance. Special guests in attendance included Rebecca Burretta from U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin’s office; Joy Hammond, Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney; and Kent Lovern, Milwaukee County District Attorney.

During the ceremony, Fairchild Equipment leadership reflected on the company’s growth and long-term vision. “Our growth has always been grounded in our core values, especially our commitment to customers and the communities we serve,” shared Van Clarkson, President of Fairchild Equipment. “This new facility allows us to continue delivering on that commitment at a higher level while supporting our team and our customers across the Milwaukee area.”

This new Milwaukee location represents the company’s third building since entering the Milwaukee market in 2014. It is more than three times the size of Fairchild Equipment’s previous two locations combined. “We’ve experienced tremendous growth in the Milwaukee market, and this facility reflects the commitment of our team and the needs of our customers,” said Chad Fairchild, CEO. “We outgrew multiple locations along the way, but stayed focused on finding the right space to support our future growth.”

Following the ribbon cutting, guests were invited to tour the new facility and experience the company’s expanded capabilities and upgraded infrastructure firsthand. The grand opening event provided an inside look at the solutions Fairchild Equipment provides to help organizations improve safety, efficiency, and uptime across their operations. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with industry experts, view all-new materials handling products, and attend a presentation focused on the new motive power technologies that can help optimize workflow and reduce the total cost of ownership.
