Explore Pabst Mansion in a “new light” with Illuminating the Dark Specialty Tour
MILWAUKEE – Spooky season is coming back to the Pabst Mansion with the return of the popular Illuminating the Dark specialty tour. Only offered in October, this captivating tour will transport visitors to a world of intrigue and mystique as they explore the Mansion in the soft glow of “candlelight.”
This specialty afterhours tour will take place in a dimly lit Mansion where themes of darkness will be explored. From hidden compartments and special access to shadowy corners of the basement to examining the gloom of loss, this tour welcomes visitors to view the Mansion in a new light. Offered October 3 – 31, Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings & Halloween.
Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended as tours are likely to sell out. Illuminating the Dark Tour admission is $30 adult, $28 student/senior/military, $13 member; tickets can be booked online. Visitors will receive a special, secret souvenir with ticket purchase.
New this year, Pabst Mansion will also offer a kid-friendly Illuminating the Dark tour. Sundays at 4PM, families can learn about the Pabst family and uncover secrets about the home, including hidden compartments and mysterious happenings. This special 45-minute tour is designed for young explorers, offering engaging stories, interactive activities, and fascinating insights into life at the Pabst Mansion over a century ago. Let your kids engage with history through captivating stories and fun facts on this special tour offered only in October!
