MILWAUKEE – Echelon Milwaukee, The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County’s young professional group, will host its seventh annual Dinner in the Alley (DIA) this August. The event, which aims to bring awareness and support to Milwaukee’s homeless population, will take place on Saturday, August 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. along the Milwaukee River outside the Marcus Performing Arts Center.

With the purchase of a ticket, guests will enjoy an outdoor dinner, drinks, and entertainment in a unique environment on the Milwaukee Riverwalk. Communal tables and a family-style dinner will allow guests to foster community and engage in meaningful discussion on combating the devastating issue of homelessness in Milwaukee County.

“It is an evening to give back to the community that has given us all so much,” said Echelon Milwaukee President Joe Obligato. Former President Brandon Tschacher added, “At the end of the day, Echelon members are here to work to accomplish a lofty goal, ending homelessness in Milwaukee.”

Ticket prices include food from the renowned Sazama’s catering, along with beverages. Happy hour kicks off at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and cheer. Guests must be 21+ to enter.

Dinner in the Alley would not be possible without sponsorship from the Marcus Corporation and Molson Coors.

Tickets and information are available online at https://www.dinnerinthealley.com/.
