Early voting starts today in the City of Milwaukee

Early Voting in the City of Milwaukee begins today – Tuesday, October 22 and runs through Sunday, November 3. Alderman Mark Chambers, Jr. wants residents to be aware of their early voting options and make a plan to vote.

“The Fall General Election includes many important national, local and statewide races, and every vote is an important one. Early voting offers a quick and convenient way to participate in our democracy at a variety of locations throughout the city,” said Alderman Chambers. “In particular, residents in the 2nd Aldermanic District can visit the Capitol Drive Voting Center – 6001 W. Capitol Dr., to vote from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturdays, and noon – 4 p.m. on Sundays.”

A full list of early voting locations and hours can be found by visiting www.city.milwaukee.gov/earlyvoting.

NOTE: Voter Registration, including address and/or name changes, ends on Friday, November 1, at all early voting locations. If you miss the opportunity to register to vote at early voting, you can register on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5 at your polling location. Voters need to bring a valid ID and proof of residence/address to register at their polling locations on November 5. Please go to Myvote.wi.gov for more information on how to register to vote.
