BLACK EARTH, WIS. – Today, Dylan Helmenstine’s campaign for Wisconsin State Treasurer announced it has collected over 2700 nomination signatures to secure ballot access. The signatures were collected with the help of over 100 dedicated volunteers who knocked on doors, talked with neighbors, and helped spread the word in hundreds of communities across the state. Reaching this milestone well ahead of the June 1, 2026, deadline highlights the strong momentum behind Helmenstine’s campaign and the statewide enthusiasm of supporters looking for leaders who will use public power for the public good.

“Our campaign reflects how I will serve as State Treasurer. We are focused on making systems more accessible, accountable, and transparent. Our work to gather signatures was no different, and I’m proud our plan brought so many people into the process,” said Dylan Helmenstine. “This is an exciting step forward for us, and I’m grateful to the volunteers and supporters across the state who made it possible.”

Campaign staff emphasized that the successful signature drive is about more than securing a spot on the ballot. It reflects the success of a campaign that is connecting with voters and building an engaged, statewide network of supporters ready to push Wisconsin forward by bringing government transparency into the 21st century.

Helmenstine brings extensive hands-on experience in public service and fiscal oversight. He currently serves on the Wisconsin Heights School Board and the Village Board of Black Earth and holds multiple statewide board appointments. He previously worked as a financial analyst for Wisconsin Medicaid programs and served the state as a frontline response staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Helmenstine campaign’s completion of the nomination signature collection requirements demonstrates the strength and reach of its grassroots organizing. By meeting voters where they are, listening to local concerns, and building a people-powered coalition, the campaign is advancing a vision of accountable leadership and financial systems that work for everyone.

Dylan Helmenstine is running in the Democratic primary for Wisconsin State Treasurer. The primary election will be held on August 11, 2026, and the general election is on November 3, 2026.
