Driver of Fatality Formally Charged

Milwaukee, WI (August 30, 2019) On Friday, August 23, 2019, MCSO responded to a personal injury crash on northbound I-94 at Drexel Ave., involving a SUV and a motorcycle. The operator of the SUV attempted to avoid detection by hiding in his car, but was located and taken into custody by MCSO. Initial reports that the operator had fled on foot were based on preliminary information that was found to be inaccurate.
Sarah T. McGraw, the motorcycle operator, succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, August 24.
The operator of the SUV, Tiondras A. Dyson, appeared in court today and was formally charged with Knowingly Operating While Revoked (Cause Death), a Class H Felony. Mr. Dyson’s bail was set at $10,000. Mr. Dyson remains in custody at the Milwaukee County Jail.
