Downtown ICE Cape-Ade to Celebrate Local Heroes and Supers Saturday at Red Arrow Parks Slice of ICE Rink

Guests to include Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee Fire Department, costumed superhero characters, and more on Saturday, Feb. 7

MILWAUKEE (February 4, 2026) – The fourth annual Downtown Ice CAPE-ade returns to Red Arrow Park’s “Slice of Ice” rink on Saturday, Feb. 7. Coordinated by Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21, the superhero-themed event provides families with free skate rentals, thanks to WaterStone Bank, and an opportunity to meet Milwaukee’s mightiest heroes.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests can enjoy an epic afternoon of fun with Kid Boogie Down, plus meet everyday heroes from the Milwaukee Fire Department and Milwaukee Police Department. Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite hero or grab one of the limited number of capes that will be given away courtesy of Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21.

“We’re thrilled to activate Red Arrow Park with another edition of Downtown Ice CAPE-ade,” said Matt Dorner, CEO of Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21. “This free, family-friendly event gives kids the opportunity to meet our everyday heroes and have some fun out on the ice.
