Doors Open to include several 6th District locations
Doors Open Milwaukee, a public celebration of Milwaukee’s neighborhoods, architecture, and history, begins tomorrow – Saturday, September 25. This year Doors Open will include in-person tours and events on September 25th and 26th, as well as virtual events taking place through October 3rd. Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs invites Doors Open guests to visit one of the 6th District locations being highlighted.
In-person tours in the 6th District include Dead Bird Brewing Company located at 1726 N. 5th St. Dead Bird will be open for guests from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon – 4 p.m. on Sunday. Schlitz Park, 1555 North Rivercenter Dr., will also be open for in-person visits from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, America’s Black Holocaust Museum will be participating in Doors Open with virtual tours.
