District Attorney John Chisholm endorses Earnell Lucas for Sheriff

MILWAUKEE – Today, Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm announced his endorsement of Earnell Lucas, candidate for Milwaukee County Sheriff.
“Earnell Lucas has the vision and the experience required to get the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office back on the right track,” said Chisholm. “The current administration of the Sheriff’s Office cannot be separated from a record of practices that lost the community’s trust. We need a Sheriff who is ready from Day One to keep everyone in our community safe, to collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and to affirm the rights and dignity of all.”

Earnell Lucas was born and raised in Milwaukee. He is a graduate of Rufus King High School and Marquette University and is a 25-year veteran of the Milwaukee Police Department, retiring at the rank of captain. He enjoys a successful career with Major League Baseball, where he has served in many capacities, including Head of Security. Earnell lives in Milwaukee with his wife, Linda, and attends St. Matthew CME Church.
