Death Investigation at Milwaukee County Jail

Milwaukee, WI (March 15, 2021) On Sunday, March 14, at 11:23 p.m., a 41-year-old man was found unresponsive in his cell at the Milwaukee County Jail. He was pronounced deceased at 11:59 p.m. Pursuant to agency protocol, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office has requested that the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department conduct an independent investigation into this incident.
