Culver’s of BAYSHORE and Sprecher Team Up for World’s Largest Root Beer Float Festival
Annual Sprecher Root Beer Bash to be held on National Root Beer Float Day, August 6
GLENDALE, Wis. – Culver’s of BAYSHORE will provide its famous frozen custard paired with Sprecher Root Beer to give away FREE root beer floats at BAYSHORE on Saturday, August 6 from 11 am to 7 pm, presented by Welcome to Glendale.
Attendees should register for free tickets to ensure organizers have an ample supply of root beer and custard. The Milwaukee-area community event served more than 15,000 root beer floats in 2020, and this year features food trucks, live music and family-friend activities.
“Root beer floats have always been a Culver’s staple, and this event is a perfect fit for the summer,” said Colby Wilkerson, General Manager of Culver’s of BAYSHORE. “Culver’s started in Sauk City, Wisconsin, where it’s still based and family-owned. Sprecher is a great local company with the world’s best root beer, so let’s celebrate together with our signature frozen custard!”
In addition to opening the new Culver’s at BAYSHORE, the same ownership group has operated the local Shorewood Culver’s, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this summer.
This year, the annual Sprecher Root Beer Bash will take place for the first time at BAYSHORE, ensuring plenty of shopping, food, parking and activity options for kids, adults and families who attend.
