Cream of the Cream City Awards Program Returns
Nominations now being accepted for historic preservation efforts
After a multi-year hiatus, the Historic Preservation Commission is set to re-launch the Cream of the Cream City Awards. The awards, sponsored by the City’s Historic Preservation Commission and the Common Council, recognizes individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions in the field of historic preservation and heritage education/advocacy in the City of Milwaukee. Historic Preservation Commissioner Alderman Robert J. Bauman is encouraging those who have engaged in preservation efforts to apply.
Additional information, including eligibility and application instructions, along with previous award winners can be found by visiting Milwaukee.gov/CreamCityAwards. Award winners will be recognized during a special ceremony at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery on Thursday, May 30.
