“I cannot support legislation that allows DHS abuses to continue in our communities. After waging an illegal war with Iran and allowing a rogue ICE to abuse citizens, Republicans are refusing to work with Democrats to ensure hardworking TSA agents, FEMA staff and Coast Guard are paid.

Instead, they are trying to exploit this moment, blocking Democrats from advancing a bill that secures meaningful reform for DHS. I am calling on Republicans to work with Democrats and secure the changes our constituents are calling for.”
