Congresswoman Gwen Moore Endorses David Crowley for Governor
Congresswoman Moore’s endorsement builds on momentum following endorsements from Gov. Evers, labor unions, and leaders across Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE – Congresswoman Gwen Moore today endorsed Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley for Governor of Wisconsin.
“I’ve known David since he was a community organizer and have watched him grow into an effective leader in Milwaukee County and a dedicated husband and father. He is ready to be the next Governor of Wisconsin,” said Congresswoman Moore. “David has delivered results for Wisconsin time and time again, demonstrating what is possible when we build partnerships, invest in our communities, and deliver results together. I am so proud to endorse David Crowley for Governor of Wisconsin because he is ready to lead on day one, be a leader for all of us, and move our great state forward.”
Congresswoman Moore’s endorsement adds to the growing momentum behind Crowley’s campaign following endorsements from Governor Tony Evers, labor unions, and mayors and local elected officials from across the state.
“Congresswoman Moore has represented my hometown with integrity, passion, and a belief in a stronger, healthier Wisconsin. I’ve had the privilege to work with her to deliver results and investments for Milwaukee County, and I’m honored to earn her endorsement,” said Crowley. “Congresswoman Moore’s support sends a strong message that we have momentum on our side to win in August and defeat Tom Tiffany in November. I look forward to earning every vote as we reach working families across the state to share our vision for the future of Wisconsin.”
David Crowley is the Milwaukee County Executive and the first African American and youngest person elected to that office. Raised in Milwaukee in a union household, David has balanced billion-dollar budgets, delivered the largest property tax cut in county history, cut opioid overdose deaths in half, and added over 1,000 units of affordable housing in six years, including in suburban communities for the first time. He has won every race for the Wisconsin state Legislature and Milwaukee County Executive.
The Democratic primary is August 11, 2026. For more information about Crowley and his campaign, visit crowleyforwi.com.

I hope that she and the other establishment Democrats will fall in behind Francesca Hong when she wins the nomination. This is going to be a tough battle and Rep Hong will need all the help and constructive advice these establishment politicians can give her.
