Commissioner Lafayette L. Crump honored as 2024 Wisconsin Titan 100

 

The City of Milwaukee Department of City of Development (DCD) is proud to share Commissioner Lafayette Crump was recognized as a 2024 Wisconsin Titan 100 during an awards ceremony at Fiserv Forum on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024.

The Titan 100 program recognizes Wisconsin’s Top 100 CEOs & C-level executives. They are the area’s most accomplished business leaders in their industry using criteria that include demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, and passion. Collectively, the 2024 Wisconsin Titan 100 and their companies employ more than 148,000 individuals and generate $76.4 billion in annual revenues.

As the City of Milwaukee Commissioner of City Development, Crump leads a staff dedicated to improving and maintaining the quality of life for Milwaukee residents through affordable and equitable housing initiatives. Implementing his business savvy and gained knowledge through a very successful and productive career, Crump also helps motivate people to invest in Milwaukee and in turn create additional employment opportunities, further improving the City’s financial landscape.

Commissioner Crump was recognized alongside several Milwaukee leaders, including Milwaukee Police Department Chief Jeffrey Norman, Employ Milwaukee CEO Chytania Brown, Medical College of Wisconsin CEO Dr. John R. Raymond, Sr. and more. Numerous partners were also honored, including the Water Council, the Milwaukee Bucks, Wisconsin Center District, Marquette University, WEC Energy Group, Northwestern Mutual, and MMAC Business Council.
