MILWAUKEE, September 23, 2026 – The Barry Company is pleased to announce the sale of a historically significant 10,500-square-foot commercial property located in Milwaukee’s historic Walker’s Point district. The property was sold on September 17, 2026, to Mae West, LLC.
The J.L. Burnham Block building was constructed in 1875 by Milwaukee entrepreneur Jonathan L. Burnham. Among its many historic characteristics, the historically designated building features one of the earliest completed classic Cream City brick façades, grand 12-to-18-foot ceilings, secure rear parking, and a highly flexible mixed-use layout. The Seller was represented by David Bartelt of The Barry Company.
