MILWAUKEE, WI (April 21, 2026)—Acclaimed Milwaukee chef, restaurateur, and educator Michael Feker is expanding his impact beyond the restaurant kitchen through his role as Culinary Director of the King’s Table initiative, a mission-driven program designed to nourish both body and spirit while creating pathways for community growth.

Developed in collaboration with Bishop Harvey and Prison EDC, King’s Table is a community-focused meal program and entrepreneurial ecosystem aimed at serving seniors, individuals in need, and aspiring food entrepreneurs. At its core, the initiative provides high-quality, ready-to-heat meals rooted in a “food as medicine” philosophy, while also offering access to commercial kitchen space and resources for emerging culinary ventures.

“As chefs, we have a responsibility that goes beyond flavor. We have the opportunity to impact lives,” said Chef Feker. “With King’s Table, we’re creating food that is intentional, nourishing, and accessible, while also building a platform that empowers others to grow through food.”

Under Chef Feker’s culinary direction, every King’s Table dish is thoughtfully curated to support long-term health and wellness. Meals are developed with specific nutritional goals in mind, including support for heart health, diabetes management, liver function, and prenatal nutrition. The program emphasizes balanced proteins, complex carbohydrates, and fiber-rich ingredients, ensuring that flavor and health are never at odds.

“Food should never force you to choose between what tastes good and what’s good for you,” Feker added. “At King’s Table, we’re proving that the two can coexist.”

The King’s Table meal program operates on a small-batch, frozen meal model, offering ready-to-heat options delivered directly to select communities. Meals are priced accessibly at $8.50 each, with a focus on reaching seniors and underserved populations who benefit from convenient, nutritious options. Beyond meal delivery, the initiative is part of a broader vision to foster sustainable wellness habits and reduce chronic illness through consistent access to better food.
