“Cheers” to Craig Counsell – Miller Lite Offers 5,000 Tickets to Each Game June 20-22 at $5.63 to Mark Reaching the Franchise Record
Tickets Available Tomorrow, June 14 at 10 a.m.
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers are celebrating Manager Craig Counsell’s win over the Washington Nationals to reach 563 wins – tying for the most managerial wins in franchise history. With the win, Counsell, the longest-tenured active manager in the National League and the third longest-tenured active manager in MLB, ties Phil Garner (563 wins/1,180 games managed).
“Craig has set a high bar leading the Brewers to four consecutive Postseason appearances and tying the franchise record for wins,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers President – Business Operations. “We greatly appreciate our long-time partner, Molson Coors, for helping fans share in this milestone with a celebratory ticket offer.”
Counsell was named the 19th manager in franchise history in 2015. Now in his eighth season as Brewers manager and seventh full season, only the Guardians Terry Francona and Rays Kevin Cash have longer active tenures with their current teams.
Counsell resides in Whitefish Bay with his wife and four children and is a proud graduate of Whitefish Bay High School (1988) and University of Notre Dame (1992).
