MILWAUKEE, WI, January 14, 2019 — As of April 2020, Teresa Wadzinski will become the new Learning Environments Studio Director for Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA). Eric Dufek, the current Studio Director, will be stepping down and will continue to support his active clients. This change allows for Eric to focus on family, spend more time at home with his two daughters, and support his wife’s role, Kristin, as Vice President of EUA.

Eric and Teresa will continue to work together over the next few months to ensure a seamless transition. Moving forward, Teresa will be making a larger impact on supporting the internal team and Eric will be able to focus on individual client needs, further supporting the firm’s goal of providing positive client experiences. “Over his 23 years at EUA, Eric has provided exceptional design solutions to our learning clients and has worked on many projects that have formed the learning environments portfolio of our firm,” says Rich Tennessen, President, EUA.

“Over the past 18 years Teresa has been with EUA, I have seen her grow in her role and as a valuable leader here. She shows true passion for Learning Environments and the clients we serve. I look forward to seeing her lead the studio and continue to exceed client expectations,” says Eric Dufek.

Teresa began her career with EUA as an intern and now her portfolio includes projects improving the learning environments in numerous school districts across Wisconsin. She cares about each client and works tirelessly for them to ensure the vision for a project becomes a reality, which has resulted in relationships that have spanned the course of many years.
